Take a local bus to Shirabidaira Station.

Take the Komagatake Ropeway to Senjojiki
The Central Alps Komagatake Ropeway is a mountain ropeway that extends to the area known as "Senjojiki Cirque" directly below Mt. Hokendake.
The 950m elevation difference from the starting point Shirabidaira Station (1,662m) to the terminal Senjojiki Station (2,612m) is the greatest in Japan.
Furthermore, Senjojiki Station is the highest-altitude station in Japan.

Senjojiki (approximately 1 hour)
The short, refreshing summer in the high mountains. In the mornings and evenings, cool air envelops the mountaintop.
The cirque area is a field of alpine flowers. Black lilies, small-flowered bellflowers, rock jasmine, hemlock, and mountain avens bloom with delicate blossoms.
Even in midsummer, the maximum temperature is around 20°C, making it a perfect season for hiking.
With easy access and a prime location surrounded by many mountains, it's a season that attracts many mountain enthusiasts, from beginners to advanced climbers.

1. Please be advised that this tour is designed for Japanese citizens and basically conducted by a Japanese tour guide in Japanese. For foreign visitors, English staff will be in accompaniment during the tour.
2. The customers cannot request any specific seat, and generally the foreign visitors will be seated at the back of the bus for convenience. A group with more than 10 people may be asked to be assigned to the seats at the back. Additionally, if the customers apply with an odd number of people, they may be asked to be seated next to the other guest.
3. Depending on the weather conditions, the tour may be cancelled. In this case, we will inform you about it by email a day before or in the early morning on your tour date.
4. The tour itinerary may need to be adjusted and the returning time may be delayed due to traffic or weather conditions.
5. Refunds will not be issued to any itinerary changes such as shortening the duration (staying time), leaving the tour group for personal reasons.
6. A credit card is required at time of booking.
7. No alternative menu is available on the lunch menu for any grounds such as allergy for a specific food, religious or vegetarian reasons.
8. In the event of inclement weather or other disruptions to the bus service and Komagatake Ropeway operations, the itinerary will be changed to include a stop at Mihara Farm and a stroll through Komagane Plateau. We will refund local bus and Komagake Ropeway fares. The return time will also be approximately 50 minutes earlier.
