*Since Kamikochi is a highland located in a mountainous region at around 1,500m above sea level, the weather and temperature are usually unstable and changeable.
It is highly recommended that you will wear or bring comfortable walking shoes, rain wear, umbrella, hat, sunglasses, and an extra jacket that you can wear and take off according to the temperature of the day.

*You can get off the bus either at Taisho-ike Pond bus stop or at Kamikochi Bus terminal. You may not be able to get off at Taisho-ike Pond bus stop depending on road conditions.

*In early spring in Kamikochi, the temperature usually rises up to around 4 to 11 degree Celsius at noon. Wearing long-sleeved and thin shirts or sweater is recommended. Wearing short pants is not recommended at all.

*In case the road to Kamikochi is closed, you will visit Takayama instead, and the returning time will be 4 hours earlier than the scheduled time.

*If the road closure on National Route 158 is lifted, the estimated arrival time will be about an hour and a half earlier than the scheduled time.

7:50: Meeting at No. 27, 28 Bus Stop at Meitetsu Bus Center 4F

: Rice Ball Bento Box

Bento Box will be provided by a tour guide. You can eiather have lunch on the bus or in Kamikochi.

12：10: Arriving at Kamikochi (approximately 3 hours 30 minutes)

Chubu Sangaku National Park
Free time for 3.5 hours in Kamikochi to enjoy the scenic view of some noted places such as Taisho-Pond and Kappa Bridge.
●*In case the road to Kamikochi is closed, you will visit Takayama instead, and the returning time will be 4 hours earlier than the scheduled time.●

21:00: Back to Meitetsu Bus Center 4F, Nagoya Station

Need to Know

1. Please be advised that this tour is designed for Japanese citizens and basically conducted by a Japanese tour guide in Japanese. For foreign visitors, English staff will be in accompaniment during the tour.

2. The customers cannot request any specific seat, and generally the foreign visitors will be seated at the back of the bus for convenience. A group with more than 10 people may be asked to be assigned to the seats at the back. Additionally, if the customers apply with an odd number of people, they may be asked to be seated next to the other guest.

3. Depending on the weather conditions, the tour may be cancelled. In this case, we will inform you about it by email a day before or in the early morning on your tour date.

4. The tour itinerary may need to be adjusted and the returning time may be delayed due to traffic or weather conditions.

5. Refunds will not be given to any itinerary changes such as shortening the duration (staying time), leaving the tour group for personal reasons.

6. A credit card is required at time of booking.

7. No alternative menu is available on the lunch menu for any grounds such as allergy for a specific food, religious or vegetarian reasons.
