*Since it is quite cold during the Snow Wall Walk Event, bringing heat-retentive, light and portable jackets, comfortable walking shoes, gloves, hand warmer, sunglasses, earmuffs and rain jacket is highly recommended.

*Snow Wall Walk Event may be cancelled due to bad weather for safety reasons.

*Tateyama Cable Car between Tateyama Sta. and Bijodaira may be substituted by bus.

*In a case of suspension of any transportations in Alpine route due to some reasons such as bad weather, you may not be able to get through the entire route.

*The tour itinerary on the second day may need to be adjusted due to the traffic conditions in Alpine Route.

*If you make a reservation a few days before the tour departure with only a few oversea participants, English speaking staff may not be accompanying with you during the tour.

*Free Wi-Fi & Outlet are available on the bus. (There are some areas on the way where Wi-Fi may not be working.)

*This tour is operated by a Japanese tour guide in Japanese. For foreign visitors, English-speaking staff will accompany to give them some basic information such as meeting place and time, but not detailed sightseeing information. Tourist information handouts written in Chinese and English will also be provided.

*The tour itinerary may need to be adjusted due to traffic or weather conditions.

*The returning time may be delayed due to traffic congestion.

*The customers cannot request any specific seat, and generally the foreign visitors will be seated at the back of the bus for convenience.

TATEYAMA KUROBE ALPINE ROUTE

The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route is a sightseeing route in Chubu Sangaku National Park, connecting Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture and Omachi in Nagano Prefecture. The route affords breathtaking vistas across the North Alps, you can make the ascent by cable car, trolley bus and ropeway. The best scenery in spring is the towering walls of snow from April to May. At 2,450 meters, Murodo-daira receives an average of over 20 meters of snow each winter, one of the heaviest snowfalls in the world.

The village of Shirakawa-go was registered as an UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 1995 for being “a remarkable example of the view or accumulations of a certain form of buildings and architectural techniques that illustrate the certain period of time, which is highly important in the history of human being. “
The center of the Gassho-zukuri communities is in the slightly northern side of the central area: Ogimachi District. You will learn the wisdom of traditional ways of living together with nature at the interactive facilities or historical museums of the local traditional cultures.

1.Please be advised that this tour is designed for Japanese citizens and basically operated by a Japanese tour guide in Japanese. For foreign visitors, English and Chinese tourist information handout will be provided, and English-speaking staff will also accompany to give you the basic information such as meeting place and time, but not detailed sightseeing information.
2.The customers cannot request any specific seat, and generally the foreign visitors will be seated at the back of the bus for convenience. A group with more than 10 people may be asked to be assigned to the seats at the back. Additionally, if the customers apply with an odd number of people, they may be asked to be seated next to someone who they do not know.
3.In the case of typhoon, heavy rain, or other dangerous weather conditions, the tour may be cancelled. In this case, we will inform the participants about the cancellation by email and on Facebook and Twitter by a day before your tour date.
4.The tour itinerary may need to be adjusted due to traffic or weather conditions.
5.The returning time may be significantly late due to some reasons such as heavy traffic. Even in this case, accomodation fee and/or taxi fare will not be paid.
6.Refunds will not be given to any of the changes, shortening of the time or omitting of the tour itinerary due to aforementioned reasons.
7.No alternative menu is available on the lunch menu for any grounds such as allergy for a specific food, religious or vegetarian reasons.
